The fight between Cheick Kongo and Patrick Barry was switched to the main-event slot for this Sunday’s UFC on Versus show at the last moment. And few could have imagined such a thrilling outcome.

Kongo was nearly eliminated in two consecutive moments. It looked like the ref was going to jump in at any moment. He did well to let it play out, though, as the Frenchman found his feet and, with two thudding fists, struck back at Barry, who collapsed unconscious.

Deservedly, Kongo took the 50,000 dollar knockout of the night bonus.
