Robson, Igor, Gregor e Rolles Gracie no pódio do NY International Pro da UAEJJF.

Os destaques do dia ficaram para os brasucas Mahamed Aly (Lloyd Irvin) e Felipinho Silva (BarbosaJJ), que conquistaram o ouro nos absolutos e com isso duas das 13 passagens disponíveis para o torneio mais importante da UAEJJF, que acontece em Abu Dhabi. Aly venceu Thiago Silva no aberto pesado, e Felipe superou Marcus Tinoco no aberto leve.

Na divisão feminina marrom/preta, Amanda Benavides venceu Erin Herle pelo título absoluto e faturou a passagem.

Os outros bilhetes ficaram para os seguintes vencedores: Robert Robinson (absoluto azul leve), Zachary Allen (absoluto azul pesado), Matheus Lutes (absoluto roxa leve), Devhonte Johnson(absoluto roxa pesado), Zata Toscano (absoluto marrom leve), Alfonso Joel(absoluto marrom pesado), Marcos Torregrosa (absoluto preta master leve), Rolles Gracie(aboluto preta master pesado), Sarah Rice (absoluto azul/roxa leve).

Outro destaque do evento foi a presença massiva dos atlets da família Gracie, com Rolles (que garantiu passagem), Igor, Gregor e Robsinho.

The UAEJJF held the New York International Pro this Saturday, March 5, in Brooklyn.

Team Lloyd Irvin’s Mahamed Aly and Barbosa Jiu-Jitsu’s Felipe Silva were the standouts of the day.

Aly and Silva conquered the black belt open class division and two of the 13 travel packages for the 2016 WPJJC.

Aly defeated Thiago Silva in the open weight heavy while Felipe Silva beat Marcus Tinoco for the open class light.

In the female brwon/black belt division, Amanda Benavides beat Erin Herle for the open class title and another travel package.

Other travel package winners were: Robert Robinson (Blue open light), Zachary Allen (Blue open heavy), Matheus Lutes (Purple open light), Devhonte Johnson(Purple open heavy), Zata Toscano (Brown open light), Alfonso Joel(Brown open heavy), Marcos Torregrosa (Black Master open light), Rolles Gracie(Black Master open heavy), Sarah Rice (Blue/Purple open women).

One of the highlights of the event was the presence of four members of the Gracie family, in Rolles, Igor, Gregor, Robson.

João Miyao, Rolles Gracie and Nathan Mendelsohn are the latest addition to the roster of black belts.

You have until March 1 to join the action and compete for travel packages for the 2016 WPJJC.

The UAEJJF event is open to all nationalities.

The NY International Pro will gather athletes of all nationalities at the Aviator Sports And Events Center, in Brooklyn.

The registration deadline is March 1.

The event will give away travel packages for the 2016 WPJJC to champions of selected categories.
