The IBJJF Munich Winter Open Jiu-Jitsu championship 2015 is around the corner. The event will again be a big platform for athletes from all over Europe to showcase their finest gentle art skills.

The competition is happening at the TSV Unterhaching – Sportarena in Germany on March 1st. Registration is now open for all belt ranks and ages including juvenile, adults and master. You have until February 21^st to sign up.

Registration price is $99.00 (USD) until January 17th, 2015 and after it goes up to $115.00 (USD) until February 21st, 2015.

Combined price for both GI & No-GI is available: $149.00 (USD) until January 17th, 2015 and $169.00 (USD) until February 21st, 2015.

Registration for the 2014 IBJJF Munich International Open is open with the deadline approaching. The second edition of the event will be the Winter Open on Mar. 1.

Last year the IBJJF expanded to Munich for the first time and saw a variety of not just teams but countries represented. Local stars in Europe won their golds like Roger Gracie black belt Oliver Geddes as well as athletes competing in their first tournament ever. Even Faisal Alkitbe of United Arab Emirates made his way to Germany and earned a champion title in the brown belt super heavy division.

This year the tournament has a list of athletes from at least twenty countries including Germany, Italy, Austria, Poland, Sweden, Denmark, United States, England, Norway, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Philippines, France, Netherlands, Jordan, Greece, Brazil and more.
