Michael Langhi, a Jiu-Jitsu professor for team Alliance, is one of those who earned the most votes, along with Leandro Lo and Rafa Mendes.

Today, we bring you a rampant Langhi at the 2012 London Open, a tournament held last October in the English capital.

The Crystal Palace National Sports Centre was the venue for IBJJF-sanctioned event in the English capital this Saturday. The big standout at the London Open was Brazil’s Mathias Ribeiro, who won the adult black belt absolute.

Mathias took bronze in the middleweight division earlier but redeemed himself with gold at open weight. His opponent in the final was Dimitri Souza of Alliance, who won the heavyweight division after beating Frontline Academy’s Renato Tavares.

Another big name from the London event was Alliance ace Michael Langhi. The two-time (2009-10) lightweight world champion took gold at middleweight after beating Pedro Bessa of Nine Nine JJ in the final.

Now Igor Silva of GFTeam won the ultraheavyweight dvision.

Na capital inglesa, o Crystal Palace National Sports Centre recebeu mais um evento com o selo da IBJJF neste sábado. O maior destaque do London Open foi o brasileiro Mathias Ribeiro, campeão absoluto na faixa-preta adulto.

Mathias havia sido bronze na categoria médio, se redimiu e levou o ouro no aberto. Na final, ele venceu Dimitri Souza (Alliance), que por sua vez venceu o peso pesado, após final com Renato Tavares (Frontline Academy).

Outro grande nome em Londres foi o do paulista Michael Langhi (Alliance). Bicampeão mundial dos leves em 2009 e 2010, ele desta vez levou o ouro no peso médio ao bater Pedro Bessa (Nine Nine JJ) na final.

Já Igor Silva da GFTeam conquistou o ouro na categoria pesadíssimo.
