Na academia Bravo Sport Club, nosso parceiro GMA no Chile, os tatames estão disponíveis para todo os tipos de pessoas aprenderem a arte e a filosofia do Jiu-Jitsu. O faixa-preta de segundo grau Kléber Cruz é quem comanda as aulas para os locais da cidade e moradores do entorno.

Porém, o estudante que mais chama a atenção é um morador de Concón, município ao norte de Viña del Mar. Ele se chama Victor, e além da vestimenta branca do kimono que usa para treinar, ele também faz uso de outra indumentária na sua rotina de vida: a batina de padre.

Ele, que é faixa-branca de Jiu-Jitsu, tem na filosofia religiosa a missão de enriquecer a vida de outras pessoas, assim como seu professor faz usando o caminho do Jiu-Jitsu que ele tanto ama. Já inclinado ao espírito de competidor, logo logo o padre do Jiu-Jitsu estará participando de algum torneio e representando a Bravo Sport Club.

At GMA Bravo Sport Club in Vinã del Mar, Chile, the mats are a place for all types of people to learn Jiu-Jitsu. Second degree black belt Kleber Cruz hosts classes for people in the city and surrounding areas.

A student from a fishing town north of Vinã del Mar in Concon has found Jiu-Jitsu and the same love for the gentle art that we all have. Victor is a priest who enriches the lives of others much like Kleber has been able to do through Jiu-Jitsu.

Soon Victor will even enter the competition circuit and attend the international tournaments along with his Bravo Sport Club team.

Coupe Samurai a hit in France

Coupe Samurai was held last May 5^th, in Saint Genis Pouilly, France.

GMA member Kleber Cruz, leader of Attack Team and organizer of the event tells us how things went: “A dream come true, it was just great. We had an amazing Saturday with family atmosphere and incredible fights. This first competition in our home has allowed us to become known, we really wanted to organize it, we deserve it after working so hard in our club. Our lack of experience in organizing competitions was replaced by the motivation and passion. Our team had a great success, not only by all the medals won, also by the assistance received before, during and after competition. A big thanks to everyone for all the help”.

Samurai's Cup next May 5th

Kleber Cruz from the Icon/Attack Team BJJ is organizing a tournament next May 5th, in Saint Genis Pouilly, France.

The event will have money prizes for the Absolute Champions.

Vita Team, Kimura/Nova Uniao, Gracie Barra are some of the teams that have already registered.

The participation is limited to 300 athletes.

The GMA has added a new member in Europe.

Attack BJJ is based in Saint-Genis-Pouilly, in France.

The team’s instructor is brown belt Kleber Cruz.

And to celebrate, some good news.

At the recent Swiss Cup, the team conquered seven medals with eight competitors.
