Power Ranger usa o Jiu-Jitsu em estreia no MMA; veja como foi

Assunto comentado aqui no GRACIEMAG.com, aconteceu no dia 30 de janeiro, em Houston, nos Estados Unidos, a estreia do ator e lutador Jason David Frank no MMA. Conhecido da série de TV “Power Rangers”, que traz a saga de especialistas em artes marciais com superpoderes contra monstros alienígenas, Frank saiu vitorioso no embate contra Jonathan Mack.

E o combate não foi moleza. O ator sofreu alguns golpes na trocação e quase beijou a lona. Entretanto, ao chão, usou o Jiu-Jitsu para sair vencedor. Foi com uma chave omoplata que o ex- power rangers conseguiu finalizar o oponente, no assalto inicial.

Actor Jason David Frank made his debut as an MMA fighter this January 30^th in Houston, Texas. Best known for his part on the television show “Power Rangers”, portraying the saga of martial arts specialists with superpowers facing off against alien monsters, Frank left his showdown against Jonathan Mack victorious.

He didn’t have an easy time in winning, though. The actor suffered some strikes in the standup exchanges and nearly hit the canvas. Nevertheless, once the action was on the ground, his Jiu-Jitsu saw him through to the win. The former power ranger managed to finish off his opponent with an omoplata in the opening frame.
