No-gi BJJ star Jeff Glover took a trip to show off his skills in a superfight in Japan last month.

Known for his donkey guard, where he sets a trap for his opponent by turning his back, Glover has had some success fighting at the highest level of worldwide grappling, in the ADCC.

His Battlefield 1 match against Japan’s own Chae Wangi can be seen in this video. Glover does somersaults, crazy transitions and more to confuse his foe and entertain the rest of us.

Fera do Jiu-Jitsu sem kimono, Jeff Glover partiu para aprontar sua peripécias em luta casada que rolou no Japão, neste mês de março.

Conhecido pela sua donkey guard, no qual arma uma arapuca para seu adversário ao ficar de costas para o mesmo, Glover já mostoru seu valor outrora, inclusive com boas participações no ADCC.

Black-belt Rafael Lovato Jr. is going through another great stretch of his career. After winning double gold at the World Master Championship in August, Lovato was invited to do a superfight opposite Tanner Rice, a black-belt under Rubens Charles “Cobrinha,” at Fight to Win Pro 11, which took place last Saturday the 10th at the Cox Convention Center, in Oklahoma City. In the co-main event, Lovato was victorious as he caught Rice in a cross-collar choke.

The main event saw Ricardo Franjinha black-belt Jeff Glover defeat Justin Rader, who’s a black-belt under Lovato, by decision. In the night’s third most important bout, Lovato pupil James Puopolo caught Luis Rubricava in a cross-collar choke as well.

Caio encarou o versátil Jeff Glover, com todas as suas armadilhas e transições loucas. O duelo foi solto e divertido, com vários ataques e provocações durante a luta. Geo Martinez e Jeff Glover protagonizaram uma luta divertida nas quartas de final da categoria. Jeff, sempre brincalhão, começou o combate fazendo sua polêmica “donkey guard”, ou “guarda-jumento”, onde oferece as costas para o oponente e tenta dar uma espécie de coice e cair no leglock. Geo entrou na brincadeira, mas logo fez postura e voltou a lutar sério.

A 1min55s, Jeff arriscou uma chave de pé, mas esbarrou na boa defesa de Geo. Depois, aos 5min03s, Geo tentou berimbolar e investiu em algumas finalizações.

No fim, Geo foi declarado vencedor pela voz de Bruce Buffer.
