Israel Fighting Championship (IFC), an event promoted by Renzo Gracie black belt Haim Gozali, shook up Tel Aviv this Tuesday.

A number of Jiu-Jitsu aces saw action and used the gentle art to overcome their opponents. Among them, Daniel Gracie submitted Martin Wojcik with a first-round rear-naked choke to notch his fifth win in eight MMA fights (2l-1d).

Rilion Gracie black belt Alexandro Ceconi put on a show of his own. He captured his second MMA win with a triangle on Vitaly Shemetov, in just 4:48 min. Now Thiago Minu landed an armbar on Ariel Abergel in just 35 seconds.

Another ground-fighting specialist, Jeff Monson was another who finished his fight in the first round, against Sergey Shemetov. Of the other big names in action, Frank Trigg and Rameau Sokoudjou won too, but via knockout and decision, respectively.

Former UFC Hermes França, yet another black belt in action, ended up dropping a unanimous decision to Moshe Kaitz.

Já rolaram as disputas do Israel Fighting Championship (IFC), evento organizado pelo faixa-preta de Renzo Gracie Haim Gozali, que agitou Tel Aviv nesta terça-feira.

Muitas feras do Jiu-Jitsu estiveram em ação e usaram a arte suave para bater seus oponentes. Entre elas, Daniel Gracie finalizou Martin Wojcik com um mata-leão ainda mo primeiro round para chegar à quinta vitória em oito lutas de MMA (2d-1e).

Faixa-preta de Rilion Gracie, Alexandro Ceconi também fez bonito. Chegou à segunda vitória no vale-tudo com um triângulo contra Vitaly Shemetov, em apenas 4min48s de luta. Já Thiago Minu usou a chave de braço contra Ariel Abergel em apenas 35s de luta.

Também atleta da luta de chão, Jeff Monson foi mais um a finalizar no assalto inicial, em luta contra Sergey Shemetov. Outros grandes astros em ação, Frank Trig e Rameau Sokoudjou também venceram, mas por nocaute e decisão, respectivamente.

O ex-UFC Hermes França, mais um faixa-preta em ação, acabou derrotado por Moshe Kaitz em decisão unânime.

Faixa-preta de Renzo Gracie com diversas passagens pelo ADCC, o israelense Haim Gozali entrou em contato com o GRACIEMAG.com para divulgar o mais novo evento de MMA no Oriente Médio.

Trata-se do Israel Fighting Championship (IFC), show de MMA marcado para 9 de novembro, em Tel Aviv, que promete contar com atletas de calibre. Entre os astros anunciados, Jeff Monson, Daniel Gracie, Hermes França, Alexandro Ceconi, Charles “Krazy Horse”, Ido Pariente, Shonie Carter, Rameau Sokoudjou, Frank Trigg e Ricco Rodriguez.

Haim no topo do pódio do Europeu de Jiu-Jitsu.

Haim, que perdeu para Ronaldo Jacaré no Jungle Fight 7, adiantou que o evento será transmitido pela internet.

“É um evento com diversos lutadores com passagens pelo UFC e Pride, e pretendemos que seja o maior e mais falado show em anos aqui, tanto no Oriente Médio como na região mediterrânea”, diz o faixa-preta. “O evento vai poder ser acompanhado pelo gofightlive.tv e pelo canal 5 de esportes, de Israel. Nosso objetivo é pavimentar o caminho para o MMA crescer internacionalmente”.

Segundo Gozali, as lutas serão realizadas na grade, diante de uma plateia de 11 mil lugares.

A Renzo Gracie black belt from Israel who has featured in the ADCC several times, Haim Gozali contacted GRACIEMAG.com for help promoting the latest MMA event in the Middle East.

The fledgling Israel Fighting Championship (IFC) event, set to take place November 9 in Tel Aviv, offers up a card replete with big names from the fight world. Among them: Jeff Monson, Daniel Gracie, Hermes França, Alexandro Ceconi, Charles “Krazy Horse”, Ido Pariente, Shone Carter, Rameau Sokodjou, Frank Trigg, and Ricco Rodriguez.

Haim in top spot at European Jiu-Jitsu Championship.

Haim, who once lost a fight to Ronaldo Jacaré at Jungle Fight 7, also announced the event will be broadcast over the internet.

“The event features a number of fighters who have been through the UFC and Pride, and we intend for it to be the biggest and most talked about show here, both in the Middle East and the Mediterranean region,” says the black belt. The event can be watched on gofightlive.tv and on Israel’s Channel fight sports channel. Our aim is to pave the way for MMA to grow internationally.

According to Gozali, the fights will take place in a cage at a venue with an eleven thousand-spectator capacity.
