JW Wright, head instructor of GMA Gracie Humaita St Louis will be in Springfield, MO to teach a seminar on JAnuary 31.

The second degree black belt under Royler Gracie will be teaching at 12 p.m. at Springfield BJJ located at 648 S. Scenic, Springfield, MO 65807.

The cost is $60 per person.

His Gracie Humaita St Louis is inviting students from all schools a seminar with Royler Gracie.

JW Wright submits at Strikeforce bout

GMA member JW Wright debuted in MMA with a big victory.

The leader of Grappling Concepts, in St Peters, Missouri, submitted his opponent at Strikeforce: Henderson vs. Babalu 2, last December 4th.

The fight didn’t take too long.

At 1:29 of the first round, the 1st degree black belt locked a guillotine choke on Josh Epps.

JW Wright awarded in Missouri

Our GMA member JW Wright was awarded last September 9th by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Professor Wright, leader of JW Wright’s Grappling Concepts, was given a commemorative plaque for his services with the force.

Wright does a great work updating the Patrol’s training system with Jiu-Jitsu.

The ceremony ended with JW teaching the program instructors positions that will be taught to every new trooper who attends the Force’s academy.
