GMA member Anderson Pereira, from Geneve, put on a great competition recently in Switzerland.

The Coupe Suisse No-Gi gathered 200 athletes in Geneve.

Another GMA member played the role of referee director.

Servio Vita flew from Portugal to give a hand.

Coupe Suisse

GMA member Anderson Pereira, in Geneve, Switzerland, invites all for the Coupe Suisse No-Gi.

The event is scheduled next June 25th, in Geneve.

It is open for athletes of all grappling arts, such as Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, judo, sambo, etc.

The registration cost is 30 Swiss Francs or 40 Euros.

Our GMA in Switzerland Anderson Pereira (BTT Geneve) made folks sweat this last 27th and 28th.

“Every year I organize the Switzerland Jiu-Jitsu Cup, and this year marked the fifth installment of the tournament with 220 participants, from France, England, Spain, Morocco and, of course, Switzerland and Brazil,” says Anderson, who won the featherweight division of the last No-Gi World Championship, in the master category.

In the team dispute, BTT Geneve took first, with Frota Team of Zurich in second, and Kimura/Nova União of Switzerland in third.

“The event’s standouts were Pernambuco natives Claudemir Tiko and Pedro Walter, both brown belts,” said the Zé Marcello black belt who has been established in Switzerland the last six years.
