Campeão meio-pesado e absoluto no Copenhagen Open, neste fim de semana na Dinamarca, Bráulio Estima não teve moleza no novo evento da IBJJF. Mas a recompensa foi valiosa, quatro medalhas de ouro.

Com kimono, ele venceu Sadayoshi Roberto na final do absoluto. Sem o pano, o Carcará venceu o peso leve Robson Oliveira, da Checkmat – academia campeã por equipe no evento dinamarquês.

The IBJJF has events all over the world this weekend.

In the US, the Las Vegas Spring Open takes the gentle art to the heart of the world famous Strip.

In Europe, the Copenhagen Open is the first ever event in Scandinavia.

After a successful weekend in Rome, the IBJJF circuit has two more stops in Europe in the next weeks.

First, on May 3 – 4, it’s time for the Copenhagen Open.

The weekend will feature both gi and no-gi competition and you can still register.

One week later, it’s time for Switzerland to become the capital of Jiu-Jitsu in the old continent.

The 2014 Zurich Open takes place May 10.
