An evil has been set loose on the world, leaving parents, kids and teachers baffled as to what to do. The ghost of bullying comes of a number of origins, but there is only one simple and effective solution, one that the vast majority of schools don’t seem to have caught on to yet: the practice of a healthy and convincing martial art like Jiu-Jitsu.

In GRACIEMAG # 187, now on newsstands, readers find eight of the principal reasons the gentle art is proven to be an ideal and painless remedy for the everyday humiliation of bullying. After all, as Helio Gracie teaches in the article, “Jiu-Jitsu reaches and strengthens the man hidden within.”

In Massachusetts, Professor Carlos Alberto Terrinha, a black belt at Gracie Barra New England, shows an efficient way of ridding kids of their fears, shyness and resulting psychological issues.
