While Bruno Malfacine drew wows for the armbar he landed on Wellington Megaton at the Pan, another surprising armbar went almost unnoticed, but in London.

Recently promoted to black belt by our GMA Roger Gracie, Andy Roberts put on a show at his first competition at his new rank, at the World Pro tryouts in London. In the end, Roberts took silver, but the armbar he performed was worth gold.

Se Bruno Malfacine chamou a atenção durante o Pan com um impressionante armlock contra Wellington Megaton, na Califórnia, outra surpreendente chave de braço não passou desapercebida, mas em Londres.

Recentemente promovido pelo nosso GMA Roger Gracie à faixa-preta, Andy Roberts fez bonito na primeira competição na nova graduação, na seletiva para o World Pro em Londres. No final, a medalha de Roberts foi de prata, mas o armlock voador que aplicou vale mais que ouro.

The guard is a Jiu-Jitsu player’s fortress, his defensive fortification. So sweep without opening it up to the enemy, as Andy Roberts (Roger Gracie) proposes you do.

Pretty simple, huh? But repeat it till you’ve got it down pat. Next, work on the alternative attack using the omoplata.
