Allen Mohler opened the doors to his academy in Texas in 1995 with the dream of establishing a world-class training facility. Coaching students in MMA, BJJ, Boxing, Muay Thai & wrestling. Coach Mohler welcomes students of all ages from beginners to advanced. We are located in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex in the Coppell / Grapevine area.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is one of MOHLER MMA’s core training programs. We have produced a multitude of champions in all types of competitions. This, all under the very technical eye of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt Allen Mohler.  Coach Mohler is a world-class instructor and MMA coach, always striving to get the most out of his students. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is primarily a ground-fighting art. Most techniques involve both fighters on the mat.

Allen Mohler personally teaches many of the classes at the academy, including the adult and children’s class.   The Mohler Jiu-Jitsu Academy is located in an attractive neighborhood centralized in the Dallas/Fort Worth Texas area.

His top students who are champions in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Mixed-Martial Arts, Wrestling, Thai Boxing, and Boxing teach other classes.  His top students compete in competitions such as the Pan Ams, Mundials, Naga Nationals, Worlds,WEC, HD.Net fights,  Dallas Golden Gloves, and many other big shows all over the United States…

Mohler Jiu Jitsu welcomes individuals of all levels from beginner to advanced, all age groups, both men and women.  Students describe Mohler Jiu-Jitsu as being a part of a family.

It was extremely well attended by about 100 members of all ranks and sizes. The good attendance showed the strength and growth of not just the team, but of the gentle art as a whole in Texas.

Professor ‘Jacare’ showed many of the techniques proven in high level competition in a very logical and precise manner and imparted his love for Jiu-Jitsu as he exhibited his passion for detail that he has given to the Alliance team over many years.

After the techniques and drills were done for the seminar, Jacare’ promoted several of the Black Belts present. Allen Mohler received his 3rd Degree, Jon Bjorksten received his 2nd Degree, and Marcus Hicks, Carl Ortega, Jeff Hennen, and Kirk Gibson all were promoted to 1st Degree Black Belt.

“Kelly Rundle was recently promoted to the rank of Black Belt on Deceber 9th, 2009, by GMA member Allen Mohler (2nd Degree Black Belt under Romero ‘Jacare’ Cavalcanti) He is 47 yrs  old and have been been practicing BJJ for 9yrs…Kelly, still active as a professional MMA fighter has a record of 5-4. He is a 25 year Delta Air Lines agent, and has a 23 year old son and a 20 year old daughter.  An avid Ice Hockey player, Kelly has coached the Mohlers Kids team, for the last 4 1/2 years. He is as well, an assistant instructor at GMA member Pesadelo BJJ in Dallas. He has also trained Kenpo and Muay Thai, and owns two Labrador retrievers.  About the gentle art, Kelly says: ‘I love what I do.’ This is shown in his dedication and character on and off the mats. Congrats Kelly!”
