Gabriel Medina won this Saturday the first ever world professional surfing championship for Brazil.

One year ago, Caroline Gracie’s Lifestyle show was talking about the relationship between Surfing and Jiu-Jitsu.

The episode interviews three-time world champion Marcus Buchecha and also US Open Surfing winner Alejo Muniz.

Muniz was decisive for Medina’s win, when he defeated Mick Fanning in the fifth stage and secured the countryman’s title.
