After four years of failed attempts in getting his visa from the American consulate, roosterweight Ivaniel Oliveira (CTBrasil/Atos) can now wage war for another gold medal in his career, at the Worlds in Long Beach, reports Carlos Ozório.
“I’ve gone four years without competing in the biggest tournament in the world, now I’m ready – and very confident I can win it,” said the stocky Ivaniel, bronze medalist at the 2010 Brazilian Nationals.
The athlete thanks Jesus and his teammates Léo Ligeirinho, Caio Gomes, Master Cristiano Carioca, Ramon Lemos, Cezar Guimarães, Gilbert Durinho, Davi Ramos and the whole team.
