The first of the only two USA Trials for the 2014 WPJJC takes place at the Long Beach Pyramid this Sunday, September 22.
The action kicks off 9AM as hundreds of athletes will fight for a spot in the main event, next year, in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
One of the highlights of the event is the presence of Keenan Cornelius, in his first competition as a black belt.
Cornelius was promoted to the new rank only two weeks ago.
The black belt division also include names such as: Gustavo Pires, Tanner Rice, Osvaldo Moizinho, Samir Chantre, Magid Hage IV, Rodrigo Freitas, Roberto Alencar, Ricardo Barros.
As usual, the Trials will pay money prizes for winners of 12 selected divisions, but the grand prize are the paid trips to Abu Dhabi to compete in the main event.
