Our photographer John Lamonica is a lover of good food and great fights. Hence he was at the CSU Long Beach pyramid and caught some of the greatest moments from the No-Gi Worlds, last Sunday the 7th.
Among the champions were Brandon Mullins (roosterweight), Caio Terra (light featherweight), Justin Rafer (featherweight), Lucas Lepri (lightweight), Gilbert Durinho (middleweight), Pablo Popovitch (medium heavyweight), Rafael Lovato Jr (heavyweight), João Assis (super heavyweight), and Roberto Cyborg (ultraheavyweight and absolute). In the female division, the winners were Letícia Ribeiro (light feather), Bia Mesquita (lightweight), Emily Kwok (middleweight), Luiza Monteiro (medium heavyweight), Katrina Weilbacher (heavyweight), and Michelle Nicolini (absolute).
