February 9th, 2013 will be a great day for two of our GMA’s in Arizona. Primero BJJ from Tucson will be joining forces with Gustavo Dantas from GD Jiu-Jitsu, who was recently promoted to 4th degree Black Belt by the legendary Andre Pederneiras. To celebrate the addition of Primero BJJ to the GDJJ Association, Master Dantas will be teaching a seminar that will be focused on back attacks.

“A lot of people may not know, but submissions from the back are the highest percentage finishes in World class competition, especially in the black belt division. This is why I push the back attacks so much,” says the leader of Nova Uniao USA.

This seminar will be one of the only two seminars that Gustavo Dantas will be teaching in the state of Arizona in 2013.

“Besides running Nova Uniao USA, AZSBJJF, NPO Live Jiu-Jitsu, GDJJ Association, and the GDJJ Academy, I’m pursuing another passion that I have: being a Mental Coach/Motivational Speaker and helping people to reach their full potential in Jiu-Jitsu and in life, which is very time consuming,” says Dantas.

At the seminar, you will learn all the key points to control the back, maintain position, identify escapes that your opponent might try, and how to finish the match. This information will increase your success rate in maintaining, escaping, or finishing from the back.
