The young Nick Newell (Fighting Arts Academy) is one of those guys who inspires us in Jiu-Jitsu. The coolest part is that “Notório”, as he’s been dubbed, recently notching his fifth win in his five-fight MMA career – most by submission, all in the first round. That was a tough fight for him. Absolute division. Guy outweighed Nick easily by 25lbs. Solid initial single leg though. Caught Nick by surprise.
Nick is a champ and an inspiration. I love following and supporting him. Can’t wait to see what he accomplishes next.
