It was another remarkable weekend for Jiu-Jitsu in Arizona. Not only did nearly 400 competitors display great amounts of talent during the two days of tough disputes within the Westwood High School gymnasium, in Mesa, but we also bore witness to a truly unique match: Twin brothers Christian and Christopher Broadnax (Nova Uniao Las Vegas) classified for the absolute juvenile final match and did not even think about closing out the bracket.
Rather, they performed amazingly against one another, with Christian opening a 5-0 lead before catching Christopher in a nasty triangle.
GD Jiu-Jitsu took first place overall in the tournament, followed by Megaton (2nd) and BJJ Revolution (3rd).
