The US Open XVIII Jiu-Jitsu championship has some news for its competitors.

The event is announcing the official hotel for its participants.

Those who book at the Continental Inn Santa Cruz will benefit from special rates.

The room rental includes parking, wifi, continental breakfast, as well as a pool and spa.

Continental will not be holding any rooms for competitors and all rooms are first come first served.

Friday 10/18: $109 (queen), $139 (double).

Saturday 10/19: $139 (queen), $179 (double).

Sunday 10/20: $79 (queen), $99 (double).

And in another great piece of news, the US Open has partned with the world famous Santa Cruz Boardwalk.

Competitors and spectators will be able to buy all-ride passes at discounted prices for the weekend of the championship (October 19-20).
