Braulio was accompanied by his brother Victor and friend Lucio “Lagarto”. The Master Grappling VIP gathered sixteen athletes, 11 French and 5 Brazilians. Braulio himself wrote about his experience:
“It all went ‘tres bien’. The event was very well organized. I fought four times and submitted two of my opponents. The adversary in the final was French Gregory Bouchelaghem . I passed his guard, mounted and submitted in the triangle. My brother also did great, and made way for me in the semis.”
For the title, Braulio took home US$ 5,000. For more info, go to graciebarrabirmingham.com
