Black belt Marcos Barros, leader of GB Springfield, spent last April 22nd teaching the soldiers fo the Illinois Military Academy Modern Army Combatives Program Level two class. The day started with a brief intro to the Professor and then went into training right away.
Class began with several ways to pass the half guard. From there they moved on to armbars and guard passing. The soldiers were well pleased with the Professor’s experience and knowledge of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
