The 13th US
Open Jiu-Jitsu championship is scheduled October 18th-19th, in Santa
Cruz, California. Registrations are now open on line and the
registration fee until October 9th is US$ 65. After that date, the cost
is US$ 80.
Master Claudio Franca, creator and organizer of the
event, also informs some changes in the schedule. “This year we have
dropped the Brown and Black Belt Team Challenge, which alters the
tournament schedule slightly. We will have the preliminaries of the
Black Belt Open Divisions on Saturday and the final match of the Open
on Sunday with the rest of the Black Belt Divisions" For more info and
