Last Saturday, July 19th marked a huge accomplishment for Joao Amaral’s BTT Boston school, GMA member in Massachusetts. The first black belt fem ale was graduated in a ceremony attended by the majority of the school’s students.
Thaise Nascimento received the black belt in a very emotional ceremony. His family was present. Thaise has been training under Masters Joao Amaral and Daniel Gazoni for over 7 years. Master Joao made a speech where he said how hard it took him to get to the black belt level, he mentioned that we have to take things day by day and progress a little by little.
