Roger Gracie and Ricardo Almeida have a lot in common. Both are Jiu-Jitsu superstars, both have very successful academies (Roger in London; Almeida in New Jersey), and both are GMA members. Another thing they have in common is their upcoming MMA fights.Roger just became aware of his next opponent, the second in his still short but already promising career. The current black belt Open class Jiu-Jitsu champion will face Japanese Yuki Kondo on May 18th, in Japan.
Almeida ready for combat
Ricardo Almeida is more experienced. In his second fight since his return to MMA and to the UFC, Cachorrao will now face Patick Cote at UFC 86, in Las Vegas. A victory over this MMA promise can really boost Almeida’s way to the middleweight title, now owned by Anderson Silva. Cachorrao talked to Graciemag.com. Click here to read the interview.
