01.04.2008 Alliance Pan-Ams team champJacare’s team conquered the adult competition The Alliance team is the team champion of the 2008 Pan-American Jiu-Jitsu championship. Under GMA member Romero “Jacare” Cavalcante, the team overcame Gracie Barra, also GMA member to finish first at the team competition. In third place came Brasa.

Professor Jacare had some things to say about the victory: “It was a show. A common effort by our branches. I would like to salute Fabio Clemente (NY), Marcelo Garcia (Florida), Ricardo “Franjinha” Miller (Santa Barbara), Fabio Gurgel (Brazil) and Allen Mohler (Texas). I believe we have the best Jiu-Jitsu team in the world once again. And I believe that we are going to enter the upcoming World Championship to win again.”
