Check out the photos of Roger before leaving for Japan, to face Yuki Kondo a week from now
Next Sunday, May 18th, Roger Gracie faces veteran Japanese fighter Yuki Kondo at the Sengoku event, in Japan.
The current absolute world champion of Jiu-Jitsu spent the last 20 days of his preparations for his debut in the Land of the Rising Sun under the care of cousing Renzo in New York.
This Saturday, May 10, the GMA representative in England finished his preparations with a final training session at Renzo’s academy in Manhattan. Check out some moments from the session.

Roger and Renzo arrive for training at two in the afternoon on Saturday.

Waiting in the office, cousins Rolles and Gregor play War on the computer.

Roger did eight three-minute rounds, before taking a rest. The session alternated just-boxing rounds...

...With rounds allowing clinches and kicks.

Afterwards, without resting, Roger did three five-minute batteries of Jiu-Jitsu.

And he could finally remove his wraps ending the session before Sunday's trip.
