Ronaldo Jacaré Souza divided the first semester of 2006 between MMA training and seminars throughout the world. That’s why he had no time to get ready for this year’s World Jiu-Jitsu Championship. A devoted athlete who does not like to lose, Jacaré chose to leave the chance to become the first three -time open class champion for next year. Between a plane ride here and a commitment there, we were able to bring Jacaré to our gym, where the black-belt from Brasa/Asle taught exclusively a takedown with ankle pick. It’s never too much to remember that it was with two points from a takedown that the reptile won the second title of Jiu-Jitsu’s most important category last year.
