Since last August, the Alliance star conquered his third world Jiu-Jitsu championship, moved to New Jersey and started giving classes in New York and, finally, got his third ADCC under-77kg title. The move to New Jersey is one more step in the professional evolution of the Brazilian black belt, born in the town of Formiga, in the state of Minas Gerais. “The change really was just a change of address, because I’ve been working more in the U.S. than in Brazil for some years now,� Garcia summed up. In the new gym, Marcelinho took some time off from training and showed one of the moves that he used to finish seven out of eight of his adversaries in the ADCC.
