At least as a writer the career of Matt Hughes seems to be on the up and up. The wrestler who was dominated by Georges Saint-Pierre at UFC 79 and even considered retirement thereafter, has become a success in American bookstores.
The UFC veteran’s book is entitled “Made in America” has already made it to 20th spot on the New York Times’ best seller list for January. The growing popularity of MMA worldwide helped spur sales for Hughes, who in 47 professional fights, has only been defeated six times.
Other fighters venturing into the world of words are Chuck Liddell, who will release his work, “My Fighting Life”, in March and Fedor Emelianenko will make his, called Fedor: The Fighting System of the World’s Undisputed King of MMA, in September.
