Fast approaching is another chapter of the most traditional Jiu-Jitsu tournaments in the United States, the US Open, in Santa Cruz, California, and sign-ups will soon be closed.
Monday the 13th of October is the last day to sign up for the 13th edition of Claudio Franca’s successful and popular event. However, organizers informed GRACIEMAG.com that they may as well end it sooner, if they reach their limit of competitors.
"It is amazing how big is the number of participants so far," says Franca, who warns: "We are looking to organize the biggest and more organized edition ever. So, in order to have all running smoothly, we have to limitate the number of fights".
So, if you want to participate, better hold your spot as soon as you can.
The Us Open will take place on the 18th and 19th of October, featuring all weight groups from rooster to ultra heavyweight for men, women, youth, masters and seniors.
Signing up by the deadline of 11:59pm October 13th will cost the full rate of US$ 80.
