Dana White decided to do away with the speculation once and for all. The president of the UFC yesterday confirmed three riveting match-ups to be part of the card for the UFC 92 event, set for December 27. Two of them will be title bouts, and the third will be yet another chapter of one of the greatest rivalries in the modern MMA scene.
Although it has already been predicted on a number of websites, just yesterday the bout between Wanderlei Silva and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson was given a time and place. The stage will be at the MGM Grand Arena, in Las Vegas. This will be the third time the two bitter enemies meet. The first two times the Brazilian came out best.
Coaches for the current season of the The Ultimate Fighter reality show, Rodrigo Minotauro and Frank Mir will face off for the interim heavyweight belt. The winner will face the survivor for the Brock Lesnar versus Randy Couture clash.
Among light heavyweights, Forrest Griffin will defend his belt against undefeated Rashad Evans, who recently demolished former champion of the category Chuck Liddell.
