In its fifteen years of existence, GRACIEMAG always was committed to stimulating readers to "change belts."

In the Jiu-Jitsu gradation system, this means to progress, to be in constant evolution as a person and fighter.

Edited by black belts, GRACIEMAG maintains a relationship of trust and proximity to the martial art's most colorful characters.

Hence the intimacy with which we cover championships, sketch profiles, edit step-by-step technical lessons, list nutritional and training tips, and invite Jiu-Jitsu authorities to write expositions on everything that could possibly interest a practitioner of the style.

GRACIEMAG is put together with humor, tradition and creativity, reaching the stands in the most accessible way possible, which is why we adopt a colloquial vernacular, in the two most popular languages of Jiu-Jitsu: English and Portuguese (as GRACIEMAG's articles are published in both).
