No, your stomach empties completely within three or four hours of eating a meal -- meat included. Granted, meat takes longer to empty, because it is a protein and does take longer to break down and pass into the small intestine, but unless you have a serious problem with your digestive system (like a blockage) any meal you eat is cleared from the stomach within four hours.

Can this diet work for gaining weight/mass. I have always been extremely thin, and nothing seems to work. I tried weight gainers, but its really hard to choke those ultra thick craptastic shakes down, and most raise you cholesterol level through the roof.

Johnny, I would suggest that you ask Rorion. He knows the answer for sure, plus he is on Facebook now under the Gracie Diet. He is actively answering all questions related to the diet. If given the choice of "either" the Gracie Diet or Gracie Jiu Jitsu, he would choose the diet.

Grapes are a Group C food. You can find a Gracie Diet-Grape Juice video on Youtube where Renen explains "how" he enjoys grapes when watermelons are not in season. Here is the link http://youtu.be/tCd_H8xn7VA

Just wondering thank you.

Not sure if this is the right thread for this post or if any heavy set individuals are curious but I figured I would take this opportunity to tell you about a http://www.negativecaloriediet.com - weight loss online program I found back approximately Christmas. I was somewhat skeptical but I started losing weight almost straightaway. Now here it is a few months after and I've not only lost 46 lbs. but I'm still keeping all those pounds off. It's really a painless programme and easy to start utilising. Hope it does the same job for those of you looking to lose some weight.

This is not an affiliate hyperlink and I receive zero financial gain from this: http://www.negativecaloriediet.com - weight loss diet plan

I agree, it would be an excellent idea, is there a way maybe we could entice Carlos Gracie Jr to encourage Reyla to write a recipe book with the kind of dishes she would feed the family, this could potentially contain a few weekly meal plans . . . and of course some awesome meals

Where do grapes fall, they are a fruit but they are not listed, so does that mean I should just avoid them in general?
