How are we supposed to fight the guard of contortionist-like opponents who don’t mind playing with their bodies folded in half? Alex Barros, a teacher at Nova União Grajaú in Rio de Janeiro, has a take on it that he would like to share with you.

First, Alex stacks his opponent before starting to employ the key details. He locks his opponent’s hip with the knee and a hand on the belt. Then he grips the collar and then, with the hand that is on the belt, he moves his opponent to the side and takes a step to get on the side and score three points.
