The controversial Tito Ortiz strikes again. In an interview on the site MMANews, Ortiz let it all out and confessed he was pleased with the acquisition of Pride by the owners of the UFC, as he will have new challenges ahead of him. “I liked that the UFC bought Pride. They didn’t used to let me fight at Pride, as they wanted me exclusively for the UFC. Now I want to go there (to Pride) and beat those guys, win the world title there, come back and unify the titles, beat Chuck and take his too,” said the Bad Boy.
With a fight against Rashad Evans expected for UFC 73, Ortiz is already speaking of his next challenge, the last one on his UFC contract. “I don’t care who it will be. I would like to fight anyone that will give me a shot at the title. Mauricio Shogun, Wanderlei Silva, Dan Henderson, it doesn’t matter. Any of the top 5. I just want my title back, and against whoever it may be, I’m aiming for that,” he finished.
