WPJJ Mexico Trials a hit; NY Trials coming up

Winners of the WPJJ Mexico Trials, and hence the trip to the UAE

Last September 22, GMA member Luis Sergio Marrinha produced a very successful World Pro Jiu-Jitsu Championship Trials.

There was double the number of athletes this time around, and plenty of technique and will to win on display.

Four divisional winners earned free trips to the 2013 WPJJ, coming up next April in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Congratulations to Virginia Manrique Aguilera / Total Defense – Women’s White/Blue Absolute Champion; Saul Mendez / Brasa – Adult White Belt Absolute Champion; Pete O’Neil / Marra Senki – Adult Blue Belt Absolute Champion; Jonathan Veja Trejo / Renzo Gracie – Adult Purple Belt Absolute Champion.

Marrinha has two other upcoming events where all-expenses-paid trips to the 2013 WPJJ are up for grabs.

The first one is scheduled to take place October 27 in New York, and the second one is set for February 2, 2012, in San Antonio, Texas.
