In recent statements from UFC fighter Chael Sonnen he spoke disparagingly about the wins of fighters like Wanderlei Silva and Fedor Emelianenko and others from back in the day at Pride FC.

Early in the millennium, when the UFC was seeing its darkest days, the Japanese promotion was the world’s foremost event, putting together historic cards.

I do miss PrideFC…But MMA is so ever evolving, we can’t go backwards. PrideFC was a victim of Yakuza Crime in Japanese Business = R.I.P. PRIDEFC!!!!!
